Irwin IP, a part of Miller Johnson, is pleased to welcome Chelsea Murray as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Litigation practice group.
Chelsea has been practicing law since 2019, with a focus on the protection and enforcement of patent rights in matters before U.S. Federal Courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the International Trade Commission. She also brings extensive experience in litigating trademark, trade secret, and copyright disputes.
Her work spans a wide range of complex technologies, including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, computer networking, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. Chelsea has been involved in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit analysis and strategy through depositions, claim construction briefing, dispositive motions, expert preparation, trial, and post-trial briefing. She is also actively engaged in pro bono work.
Prior to joining the firm, Chelsea was a litigation associate at a boutique intellectual property firm in Chicago and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Charles P. Kocoras of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Honorable William J. Bauer of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
