Ariel Katz is a summer associate at Irwin IP. She is a rising 3L at Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she serves as the Editor-In-Chief of the Children’s Legal Rights Journal and is a member of the moot court program.
Prior to law school, Ariel obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Claremont McKenna College. Upon graduating, she joined the Teach for America program and taught high school English in Chicago. After teaching for a total of four years, Ariel worked for two years as a fundraiser at the Jewish United Fund before starting law school. during her 1L summer, Ariel worked as a Judicial Extern to the Hon. Marvin Aspen, of the Northern District of Illinois.
Ariel is passionate about IP law as she believes strong IP protection enables art, creativity, and technological innovations to flourish.
